Power has been restored to all NCMA practices and they are open. Phones and computer systems are now back up and functioning at all locations. Folks, we made it. It looks like the powerpocalypse is over. Until next time.

PG&E power outage update Oct. 11, 9:30 a.m.: Power has been restored to all NCMA practices and they are open. We are experiencing computer and phone disruptions at NCMA Cardiology — Fountaingrove & NCMA Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery / Ear, Nose & Throat. NCMA Live Oak Family Medicine has working phones, but are still working through some computer issues.

Computers are up and running at NCMA Foot and Ankle Center, NCMA Digestive Health Center, NCMA Endocrinology & Diabetes Center and NCMA Rheumatology. Unfortunately, phones are not functioning at these offices at present. We apologize for the inconvenience. See a list of NCMA practices and their phone numbers at the bottom of this page.

PG&E power outage update Oct. 10, 8:55 p.m.: Power has been restored to all NCMA practices. We anticipate all practices will be open Friday, Oct. 11. Please be aware that while operational power has been restored, some phone issues remain. We are working on the phones and hope to have them in full working order in the morning. We apologize for the inconvenience.

PG&E power outage update Oct. 9, 4:22 p.m.: NCMA Cardiology — Fountaingrove and NCMA Vein Center will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 10. They hope to reopen on Friday. The following NCMA practices will be closed tomorrow through 1 p.m. AND they hope to be open in the afternoon (our offices will call patients to confirm afternoon appointments):

  • NCMA Cardiology — Sonoma

Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2:44 p.m.

NCMA Cardiology — Petaluma will reopen for patients tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 10. Michael J. Lazar Urology in Santa Rosa has power. Phones are working and appointments can be made. This office will also be open tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 10.

Wednesday, Oct. 9, 1:55 p.m.

PG&E tweeted this: “Early this morning, PG&E turned off power for safety to counties in phase one (approx. 500k customers). That phase is complete. If you still have power IN THESE COUNTIES (see graphic) you will not lose power due to a PSPS.” This includes Sonoma County. It does not include Mendocino County.

KSRO Sonoma County news radio tweeted this: “The Noon deadline for Phase 2 of the PSPS has passed, with no new shutoffs in Sonoma County. If you are in blackout, that will continue. But if you HAVE power, you will continue to have power.”

PG&E power outage office update Oct. 9, 1:04 p.m.: NCMA Redwood Family Dermatology in Santa Rosa will be closed Thursday, Oct. 10.

PG&E power outage phone update Oct. 9, 9:20 a.m.: Some phone systems in NCMA offices with no power currently say “this number has been disconnected.” These offices are only without power at this time. The phones will work again when power is restored. Please check back later. If you have an urgent medical issue please go to your nearest hospital or urgent care facility.

Open: Family Wellness Center (Dr. Erskine) in Sebastopol and NCMA Family and Internal Medicine — Petaluma (Dr. Leoni & Dr. Aye); NCMA Internal & Family Medicine — Mendocino (Dr. Berenson & Dr. Stewart); Rachel Mayorga (Healdsburg).

Wednesday, Oct. 8, 3:07 p.m.

Planned power outage: PG&E has informed the public of a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) in Sonoma County, effective as early as midnight, Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 and could extend for a few days. As a result of this temporary power outage, most NCMA offices will be closed during this time. Please call your provider’s office to verify office closures.

Currently (3:07 p.m., Oct. 8), NCMA Family Wellness Center (Dr. Erskine) in Sebastopol and NCMA Family and Internal Medicine — Petaluma (Dr. Leoni) on 1116 B Street are NOT included in the planned shutdown, according to PG&E. They may remain open. We also anticipate NCMA Internal & Family Medicine — Mendocino (Dr. Berenson & Dr. Stewart) will not be impacted by the PGE PSPS.
