Proud to serve patients in Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake counties
As long-time members of the North Bay community, Northern California Medical Associates is invested in the welfare of Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino counties and continues to seek opportunities that contribute to the overall health and well-being of its people. Through community collaboration, NCMA is proud to share a unique partnership with the Northern California Center for Well-Being in implementing cardiac rehabilitation through its HeartWorks program.
NCMA is also a proud supporter of local and national non-profit organizations and their events, such as
- the American Heart Association Heart Walk and Go Red for Women;
- the Northern California Center for Well-Being’s annual Celebration of Dreams event honoring leaders in health and wellness; and
- the Sutter Breast Care Center.
In addition, NCMA’s comprehensive network of providers, facilities and services work together to ensure the highest level of heart care to our patients throughout the North Bay. NCMA has an established leadership role in the community via years of life-saving expertise. We host several physician and physical therapist continuing education meetings and seminars. The cardiology staff’s community involvement does not end there — of the many community partnerships that NCMA has established, our Cardiovascular Services staff is proud to be partnered with the American Heart Association in conducting cholesterol screenings throughout Sonoma County and beyond.
Recent community events we’re proud to support:
Schulz Celebrity Golf Classic
Northern California Medical Associates was proud to once again sponsor the Schulz Celebrity Golf Classic this past June. The Schulz Celebrity Golf Classic is an annual event to raise funds and awareness for educational programs, life-skills training, leadership and counseling services for Sonoma County children. We recognize the importance of health, compassion and education for children and are dedicated to helping the children of our own beloved community. This star-studded, action-packed event was another great success … and more than a little fun! NCMA is honored to be a part of such great work.
North Bay Go Red for Women Luncheon 2019
This May we had the pleasure of supporting the American Heart Association at the North Bay Go Red for Women Luncheon in Rohnert Park. Heart disease is a growing concern in women’s health and we are delighted to be able to support educating women on the importance of healthy heart care and how to incorporate healthy habits into daily life.
This event was a wonderful opportunity for women to bond and build communities to support one another in choosing a healthy lifestyle. Our own NCMA physicians Erin MacDonald, MD, and Ashleigh Korves, DPM, were there to answer questions and provide support for women’s health. Northern California Medical Associates is proud to have been a part of this annual event both in attendees and physicians present and we look forward to participating again!
