Trained as a geologist Bill is an avid traveler, his life and passion has always revolved around being outdoors. However, debilitating sinus infections and persistent allergy attacks brought on by
pollen production and other allergens caused him to suffer relentlessly. Tired of suffering from symptoms and reduced quality of life, Bill decided to seek out an ear, nose and throat
specialist at The Allergy Center at NCMA and get his life back on track. At NCMA Bill received allergy testing and immunotherapy for his multiple allergies. He worked with Dr. Zechowy, Otolaryngologist and then Linda Biggers, Allergy Clinic Manager who tested Bill
for more than 40 different allergy triggers. Dr. Zechowy also prescribed a therapy treatment that effectively left him symptom-free for more than a year now.
“I could not do the things that enhanced my life and my allergies and ‘attacks’ soon defined me
and restricted what I could do,” says Bill. Bill can now work outdoors on his ranch in Lake County, and he just got back from a trip to Europe with his wife. He is happily allergy-free and can now enjoy artichokes, something that is a staple of his household. Bill explains that he is symptom-free and grateful that he now can eat and experience everything he wants, without fear of allergy attacks.
The Allergy Center at NCMA and its board-certified physicians carefully examine each individual patient for their allergy needs and offer comprehensive allergy testing, quick test results and
immunotherapy (allergy shots) as well as a walk-in clinic after an initial consultation.
