BIO: Dr. Stephanie Su Huang was born in Taiwan and moved to Chicago at 12.  She graduated from University of Illinois College of Medicine.  She completed her internship in General Surgery, residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and fellowship in Facial Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery at The University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Huang is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She has authored several articles and has presented at many national and international meetings. Her various achievements have been featured on the Discovery Channel, VH-1, American Medical Association News and the Chicago Sun Times.

Dr. Huang is among a handful of female surgeons trained in both head/neck and facial plastic surgery.  Her dexterity and gentleness are apparent in her multiple accomplishments as a surgeon as well as a talented pianist. She studied classical piano performance for 17 years and was the senior division winner of the Illinois State Music Teacher Association Competition at age 18. She is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.
